Leo and Cicero, Guided Readings

The Power and the Glory of the Latin language both 50 BC and 450 AD as abound in the speeches of

M.T. Cicero (106-43 BC)

and the sermons of

Leo the Great (c. 400-461 AD).

Guided readings in both classical and ecclesiastical authors will be held online moderated by Daniel Vowles.

ONLINE ONLY 1 – 12 September 2025, weekdays

Two hours daily, including a break.

Fee: £200
Discount fee when this reading course is taken in combination with LA611 Intermediate Latin or  LA711 Advanced Latin or L711 Proficient Latin for Liturgists (and Canonists).

Activities include the presentation of Latin and reading Latin texts together and a daily ludus domesticus, “home-game”, for self-study and in class review.
